DESCRIPTION:APOYOnline is proud to support Semana do Patrimônio Cultural 2026 and will offer two workshops as well as a edition of the Manos a la Obra volunteer special initiative. \nWorkshop – Emergency Preparedness and Response with Salvage Simulation\nInstructor: Beatriz Haspo \nThis full-day workshop introduces participants to the essential principles of emergency preparedness\, response\, and recovery for cultural heritage collections. Participants will learn practical strategies for planning and responding to emergencies affecting cultural property and will take part in a hands-on salvage simulation designed to strengthen emergency response skills. \nWorkshop – Risk Assessment: A Strategy for Managing Resources for Preventive Conservation\nInstructor: Claudia Carvalho \nPreventive conservation professionals must evaluate and quantify the risks affecting cultural heritage collections in order to establish sustainable preservation priorities. This workshop presents risk assessment as a practical decision-making tool\, helping participants identify agents of deterioration\, assess the values and vulnerabilities of collections\, and prioritize actions for the effective allocation of conservation resources. Through real-world examples\, participants will explore how risk-based approaches support informed choices in preventive conservation. \nManos a la Obra\nThe next edition of Manos a la Obra will take place at the Casa da Memória de Curitiba\, in partnership with the Fundação Cultural de Curitiba. Participants will work directly with the cleaning and rehousing of architectural drawings\, books\, watercolors\, and other large-format archival materials\, including collections from architect Manoel Coelho. This hands-on volunteer activity contributes directly to the preservation of an important documentary heritage collection in the city of Curitiba. \nAll activities are offered free of charge. DESCRIPTION:O Encontro Regional de Conservação e Restauro do Património Cultural – Madeira (ERCRPC-Madeira)\, promovido pela Direção Regional dos Arquivos\, das Bibliotecas e do Livro (DRABL) e pela Direção Regional da Cultura (DRC)\, regressa para a sua 4.ª edição\, consolidando-se como um espaço privilegiado de partilha\, reflexão e conhecimento entre profissionais dedicados à preservação do Património Cultural Móvel. \nSob o tema “Espaços de armazenamento de bens culturais: museus\, arquivos e bibliotecas”\, esta edição destaca a relevância destes espaços enquanto componentes fundamentais para a salvaguarda das coleções – zonas muitas vezes invisíveis ao público\, mas indispensáveis à sua conservação\, estudo e valorização. O programa centra-se na conservação preventiva e na gestão sustentável dos locais de guarda e preservação das coleções\, alinhando-se com os princípios da sustentabilidade económica\, técnica\, ambiental e sociocultural. \nA programação inclui um Dia de Conferências\, que reunirá especialistas e profissionais do setor para partilhar práticas inovadoras\, experiências\, desafios e soluções relacionadas com a gestão e conservação de bens culturais móveis. Paralelamente\, realiza-se a Formação RE-ORG\, destinada a técnicos de instituições culturais da Região\, com o objetivo de capacitar equipas para reorganizar os espaços de armazenamento e melhorar as condições de preservação e acesso às coleções
