To increase accessibility, ensuring that more people have access to information in a language they are familiar with, APOYOnline volunteer Translation Team have worked with tens of thousands of words of some of the most important reference material in cultural heritage into Spanish and Portuguese. Topics range from technical and reference material in preservation of cultural heritage to health and safety of professionals, during COVID-19 pandemic.
Translation efforts are a critical part of our mission and continue to be possible through the multidisciplinary academic background of our volunteers, and of course, through our content providing partners.
