Director of Conservation and Restoration Services at the Regional Directorate for Archives, Libraries and the Book (DRABL), she has coordinated key areas dedicated to the preservation of the documentary heritage of the Autonomous Region of Madeira since 2004. She holds a Master’s degree in Conservation and Restoration from the University of the Arts London – Camberwell College of Arts. She is a member of the organising committee of the Regional Meeting on Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage – Madeira, an annual event that promotes the exchange of professional experiences, technical debate and continuous professional development within the field. She also acts as a technical consultant for national and international institutions.
